I specialise in the resolution of commercial and property related disputes, where possible through cost effective alternatives to court. Where court proceedings are necessary I ensure that the process is dealt with effectively and in the most cost effective manner.


 Background

Johanne is a Director and Head of Litigation at Ware & Kay Solicitors. Johanne specialises in the resolution of commercial and property related disputes. She acts for a range of property owning clients including landed estates, farmers and agri businesses as well as commercial and residential landlords handling: possession claims; recovery of rent arrears; breaches of lease covenants; contested business lease renewals and dilapidations claims. She also acts for private individuals and businesses who have disputes with builders; specialist contractors and professionals. Johanne has a particular interest in helping clients in regards to private and public rights of way including modifications of the Definitive Map and infringement of property rights. In addition, she also provides advice on partnership and shareholder disputes and claims against financial institutions. 

Johanne is a member of the Property Litigation Association; The Country Landowners & Business Association and is a Fellow of the Agricultural Lawyers Association.
