At Ware & Kay Solicitors, we have never been known to stand still. We are already planning our next steps to grow as a firm to continue to deliver the best legal services across Yorkshire and beyond.
Ware & Kay consolidated a 12 month period of rapid growth following the merger with Sykes Lee & Brydson in 2013. We recorded revenue equating to more than 25 per cent growth in 2013/14 compared to the previous 12 months and are expecting it to grow 12 per cent on those figures for 2014/2015. We also had a busy year with the firm increasing our headcount by more than 25 per cent, bringing the total number of staff to 76 across our offices in York, Wetherby & Malton . Our modern, stable-block offices in Wetherby town centre have also proved so popular with clients that we have decided to increase the office space to expand the team there.
Peter Kay, Senior Director at Ware & Kay, said: "We have performed extremely well in the market conditions and our growth is testament to Ware & Kay delivering consistently high quality professional legal services to established and new clients."
As a large leading law firm, our business clients benefit from the expertise of our corporate, commercial and employment teams, as well as an extensive litigation and dispute resolution capability and niche know-how in the field of mediation. In addition, the firm has experienced lawyers dealing with agricultural property and other rural issues.
The families and individuals we serve benefit greatly from our larger wills and probate team, residential property solicitors and a family law team comprising highly experienced and dedicated lawyers.
Overall we offer a high quality, cost-effective and specialist service to meet the most exacting requirements of business and individuals.
Complementing the legal practice we also have a chartered financial planning team who are able to offer independent financial advice.
We pride ourselves on our approachability and our commitment to building lasting relationships with clients and their families, which so far has spanned eight generations.
The challenge now is to steer the business forward in line with ambitious growth plans, while still retaining this strong family ethos that will remain at the core of the firm for the benefit of clients now and for future generations.
The continued growth and expansion of the teams to meet demand from our clients means we are able to make new appointments and promotions. This is good news for both the firm and our clients. In addition our positive outlook for the future continues to drive our commitment to further growth.
Both our York, Wetherby & Malton offices provide private consultation rooms on the ground floor, free on-site car parking and easy access by public transport and park and ride.
